Time is running so fast. After a nice Christmas holiday in good old Germany with some marathon runs, I’m back again in Asia and looking forward to the first highlight in the running year.
The Vibram® Hong Kong 100 race will be hold this weekend. This was my first 100k race last year and I’m so happy that I was lucky enough to get a race number again for this year. Tomorrow morning I will fly to HK for a great weekend with an amazing trail running event.
Last year my finish time was 22:18. It is very difficult to predict a finish time for a 100k run, so many things can happen, but I hope I can finish this year within 20 hours to get the silver trophy. Unfortunately this weekend where will be coldest days in Hongkong since many years. It even might be snowing on Tai Mo Shan, HK’s highest mountain which I have to run at the end of the race. Hopefully this cold weather will make me run faster. 🙂
If someone wants to check more details during the race and the statistics, the live tracking can be found here. My race bib is 687.
