Back at my homeland in Winter

Finally I got some luck and have some snow during my holidays in my home village. So yesterday early morning I went out during heavy snowfall and had a small run around my village. Today with beautiful sunshine and -7°C (19°F) I went out again, explored the snow covered forest and found places I haven’t been since more than 30 years.

The race officials just released a video with amazing pictures from this years 100km challenge in Guizhou / China. Check it out. Brilliant landscape and nice folkloric people from the local ethnic minority. I found myself at 5:11 running and still smiling, which means, getting blood blisters and losing toe nails is a lot of fun. 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJlXlN8L_F0

A runners body needs this off-time and lazy hangouts once in …
